Fall Registration

Fall Training Programs Registration Opens In Early August

Speed Unlimited offers two training options for athletes in the Fall. A fall cross country program and speed and condition program for sprinters. Our Fall Training Season begins on Monday August 17th (or 24th). Registration will open in mid to late July/Early August. NOTE: Practices are typically on Monday and Wednesday evenings on the Eastside. Please be sure to review our fall schedule for practice times (which change as sunset times progress) and locations when it is posted.

The fall cross country program for middle school includes participation in the competitive Junior Olympic circuit which culminates with Nationals in early December.  This is a great chance to improve on your seasonal best and compete on a national level with age group peers! Interested athletes must demonstrate fitness prior to registration.  Please email info@speedunlimited.us for more information.

High School age athletes that have finished their fall sports season in any sport can register for our Post Season High School session.  Athletes will participate in either our competitive post season cross country program or our Speed Conditioning group as appropriate once their participation in a fall high school team is completed.  The high school cross country athletes will train and participate in a variety of post season invitational meets.

NOTE: Practices are typically on Monday and Wednesday evenings on the Eastside.

Our Fall Training features 3 training groups:
Group 1 is our Competitive Cross Country Racing Group that trains to compete in the Fall USATF Cross Country Developmental and Junior Olympic circuit.  These runners will race the 2K, 3K, 4K and 5K depending on their age group. To register for the Cross Country team runners must be at least 9 years of age or born in 2007. Younger athletes born in 2008 may train with Speed Unlimited with coach approval ONLY.

Group 2 is our Fall Speed & Conditioning Group for Middle Schoolers.  This group consists of sprinters and/or athletes with another competitive fall sport or looking to stay active during the fall, or to begin pre-season training for the 2017 Spring Track & Field Season. Participants will benefit from sprint technique and speed mechanics as well as strength work, but will not compete in any races/events.  To register for the Speed & Conditioning Group athletes must be at least 11 years of age or born in 2005. Younger returning Speed Unlimited Athletes, born in 2006 may join with coach approval ONLY.

Group  3 is our Fall Speed & Conditioning Group for High Schoolers.  This group consists of sprinters and/or athletes with another competitive fall sport or looking to stay active during the fall, or to begin pre-season training for the 2017 Indoor Track season or 2017 Spring Track & Field Season. Participants will benefit from sprint technique and speed mechanics as well as strength work, but will not compete in any races/events.  To register for the Speed & Conditioning Group for High Schoolers athletes must be in High School. NOTE: High School aged athletes that are participating in a school sport are welcome to register for and participate with the appropriate training group before their HS training begins and once that season has ended.  Look for a special link ( Post High School Season) on the registration site for these athletes.
